Hi
I was second at the cardschat 100 dollar freeroll. Had a big stack was like 600k vs 250 k. I did loose because i never played the heads up. So can someone tell me how to play it?

Practice, practice, practice :) Based on my experience you should change your style in headsup. In case if your style is a tight one , you have to play a bit loose. The most important thing is to discover your opponent and try to understand what is playing. In summary the headsup is a bit different than the normal play and you have to practice a lot to understand.

Great job! but headsup is completely different compared to the game before the bubble and before the final table. My experience says that the later the game the more hands are played even if they are not that good (e.g. low suited connectors, only suited cards, all variances of A with 2-x, ...). And you have to be aggressive and smart. The pre-flop is mostly raised 4-7BBs if you won't take the initiative on the Button the BB will take it. Don't be scared of raises because your opponent might not have real good cards... in the end its all about practice as nyolcas said! Good luck! :)

must be agressive very agressive , like Turn7 said dont be afraid , cuz sometimes its really hard to hit one pair , but need to stay safe to , folding cards on small blind etc, raising to take b.binds ,for example on turbo/hyper , need to shove all in just to take blind , if next hand dealt is better , you shove again , u will be get called . cuz oponent will be confused , or he cant afford loose too many blinds.

Practice in lower buy-in HU. I think you must to play more hands than usually at 9 players tables. More bluffs and more aggressive play style. But also you need good reading skills.

Very aggressively. Prime cards are less valuable and cards like pairs before gold. In heads up the flop usually misses both players, so even bottom pair can be the best hand. Get a sense of when your opponent hits or misses, find out what every different raise means. With a stack 3x larger than the other guy you can afford to be very loose. Try not to bet too far out of your own equity.

Btw I won first place in last week's, grats on second bruv. Just register for heads up sngs to get a sense of it. It's tedious, can be long and variance is killer.

In headsup the blinds and the ante are very high so you should play more hands. Since with each fold ur opponent will get alot of your money! Thats why you should play hands which are not that good.
