I just got back on online poker for the first time in two years, i was looking back into some of the sites i use to frequent and found this one. I am currently playing on carbon poker and am a bit rusty but it seems like everyone playing on this sites has never seen a poker table in their life. Im not going to complain about doubling up within the first 20 minutes of playing but it kinda confused me. I was going to start playing on 888 poker but they wanted my social security number to register. (WTF is that about) Does anyone know any other sites that i can use to actually polish up my poker game? Playing against idiots isn't helping at all.

Well, i think you should play at the higher limits, because if you play bass you'll find more fish, in any poker room or Casino, i think the best thing you can do to polish your game is to make a deposit 500us minimum, and try to play in a more popular room like pokerstars or partypoker.

Yep. PokerStars and FullTilt are the two most popular poker rooms for now. You can check also PKR ( If you are interested in 3D poker ), Winamax, also. But I'd highly suggest Pokerstars or Fulltilt. FT doesnt have as good tournaments as pokerstars does, but the cash game is more interesting there. So, for cash - FT, Tournaments and everything else - PS.

The best way to stop playing with fishes is by moving up in limits, but if you are not ready for that play in pokerstars because you might also play against professionals pokestars players and it is much more fun.
Also you should try zoom

While some people will tell you poker has changed and gotten tougher over the last two years, the least change has occurred at the lowest levels. So you won't notice much difference until / unless you move up at least a couple of levels.
