Hey gang long time since my last post.
Had a session($1/$2 NLHE) the other night where I found myself not being as aggressive once I started having table talk with some of the other players. In the beginning, I wasn't talking to anyone, raising in position and taking down pots with impunity. I got up to about 300 BBs (bought in for 100BBs) and it was like I took my foot off the gas pedal and was just waiting until it was time to cash in for the night. All of a sudden, I noticed that was losing more, talking more and raising less. For example, I had QsAh from middle position, instead of raising, I just limped into the pot and eventually lost the pot to a guy who hit a straight with J9o!! Now had I raised pre flop, would that guy have stayed in the hand? I doubt it. When the session was over, I was back to 100BBs and pissed!
Is there to way to still be social at the tables while still playing aggressive?
