By controlling the pot size to your advantage, you will add another significant element of the success of a good poker player.
In theory it's simple: you reduce the losses to a minimum and increase the winnings to the maximum.
When you strongly polar hands, then use this theory it is easy enough.
If you have the nuts, you are overclocking the pot; if you have nothing, you have to throw off his hand.
But when you find yourself in the world of medium strength hand, which, depending on your individual style of play, may represent a significant portion of your hands played, the path from theory to practice is somewhat thorny.
Full range of hands that reach the flop depends on the opponents and their styles.
The point is to play hands in the style (hopefully), which enables you to maximize your winnings and limit losses without an accurate knowledge of what is in the hands of your opponent.

KJ, KQ are very difficult cards.
You don't want fold, but any A is big :(

Play KJ carefully and throw away some KJ off when there are raises and calls in front of you. You want to play KJ suited as it lets you hit a strong flush but be careful putting money in when you hit top pair. You should rather try to bluff catch when you hit top pair and then go for value if your opponent is showing weakness.

Yeah it's definitely a really tough hand to play! Daniel Negreanu even calls it "the rookie" due to the fact that it is an attractive looking hand but is crushed by many other hands that might be playing. Preflop you're behind any ace and any pocket pair, even though you're not a huge dog. The problem comes when someone else is holding AJ, AK, KQ, JJ, KK, or AA. If you hit a piece of the flop it becomes hard to get away from the hand. The best advice I can give you when playing KJ is to try and control pot size to the best of your abilities and know ahead of time that you may need to make of tough lay down if you receive a lot of resistance from your opponent.

This is a hand you should open with from the CO or the button but open fold in other positions. Don't call raises with it.
