Hey folks,
I'm new here so be nice
Little background, I started playing a few months ago, read a few books (poker math etc.) and generally found myself progressing well. Came 29th out of 700(and something) on a play chip tournament so deposited $40 and got it up to almost $100 playing micro stakes. Then i took a break for a month or so.
Now i'm back at it, but i've found myself making stupid bets and calls on impulse for no reason other than "f*ck it" and invariably losing. It's getting me and my bankroll seriously down but i just can't seem to recapture that level of focus i had before. It's probably like the poker equivalent of impotence!
Can anyone point me in the direction of some books/articles/advice which can help me get back in that "zone" required to be successful?
Thanks!
