Hey all,
So I’m a microstakes player at 5NL. I’ve been following some strict BR management and recently invested in some poker tracking software. Without getting too much into my personal poker details, I have a question about moving up stakes.
I understand the concept of having a certain number of buy-ins in your bankroll before considering moving up to the next stake. But, what about hand sample size and bb/100? Let’s say I have won enough at 5NL to surpass my BR goal of 30 buy-ins at 10NL, at what time is this valid? Meaning, at how many hands played at a positive bb/100 at 5NL am I ready to move up? 5k hands? 10k hands? 20k?
Thanks! GL at the tables!
