Hi guys and girls
as anybody as ever played h.o.r.s.e and could contribute some information on how the betting goes when you change the variation every half an hour?

Thanks
Toni

holdem, omaha h/l, razz, stud, stud h/l. all limit games, max 4bets (bet, raise, raise, raise is capped) per street. Bets on later streets are twice as much as ones on early streets.

Holdem and Omaha have small and big blinds that rotate around the table, while the other three are stud variations with antes for all and a bringin (which is less than a fullbet) for hi or lo card depending on the game.

...also you can make a double bet with pair showing on fourth street is stud.

Games may alternate every 6 min, 10 min, 15 min, etc. depending on tourn. setup...or usually 10 hands per game in cash games I think.

In holdem and Omaha h/l the button moves around just like normal. In the stud games the worst card brings in.

Nowhere online that I know of has half hour levels, so this suggests you have found a live game. In which case you need to talk to someone who actually can provide that info.

Typically however (online at least) the blind/ante levels in a HORSE tourney increase with each variant change.

FWIW, I prefer UB's Horse structure best as it does one round per hour (12 minutes each variant) and then breaks. On the other end of the spectrum are some turbo HORSE tourney's where it is not unusual for somebody or a few somebodies to delay thru a 3 minute level and effectively only suffer one hand of razz.

Ring HORSE games are fixed at x hands per variant in most cases, thus not time dependent.
