Great hand on turn/river: bet ~pot OR shove?

This has confused me with a great hand on the turn/river whether to bet ~pot OR shove.

With a monster hand, I think slowplaying the flop is correct (you don't advertise your strength and encourage your opponent to barrel off lower-equity hands).

For example: with medium effective-stacks >= 100 BB, and you have >= 2-pair or the nuts (top set on a dry unpaired board or the nut flush) OR the 'near' nuts (middle-set on a dry board, K-high flush, etc).

If the top board card is an A or K you hope a weak/loose player will call with only top-pair.

So bet ~pot or shove in this situation??

Maybe it depends how cautious & tight your opponent is (bet < pot against a tight opponent?).

When I have a proyect/flush done or a top set I would check the flop, as you say in your post but this depends on my position, if I'm in early position this would be the best option. I agree with betting or even shoving the turn/river but the determining factor is the kind of opponent you're against, I think it's very important to know the kind of player your opponent is.
pokerstars has a very simple system of notes and labels you can use to recognize the kind of game your opponent uses the most, for example I use red label to mark agressive players, yellow for tight players, etc, etc.
In short, I think the first and most important thing to do in a table is to be patient and watch the other players , in order to know how much and how often you should bet , greetings .

I usually bet 2/3 of the pot because it is the size of a bank rate looks too scary, and unready hands will not pay for it, and our goal is to squeeze as much as possible chips from your opponent

I think you want to bet enough so that a weaker hand will call rather than fold. If they have nothing at all, it doesn't matter how much you bet, they most likely aren't calling. If you bet to much they might just lay down their second pair or whatever it may be.
