Hi! I'm a freeroller for about 1 week and cashed a couple of games, now I decided to deposit $20 at PS, I want to know where is the best way to use them for a higher chance of profit. I'd like to say I play decent.

My current games I played is SNG $0.10, Satellites for HOT & Bounty Builder for $0.11 which equivalent to 155x entries for both, and a $1.60 maximum budget for cash game. any suggestions that are better than those?

Study. Study more than you play. That's the best way to go forward.

Game selection and all the other things will come into play, once you've created a good foundation for yourself.

play buy-in that does not affect your psychological, I think it would be more interesting to play sit go 9 player only. the variance is smaller, mtt is harder to hit the media, however much you have will have a larger number of games will not be enough to hold the breaks. Study hard enough this would help you a lot.

A good way to increase the bankroll is tournaments Bounty Builder and KO = 0,55--
1,10-2,20, there you can well stuff money and raise your bankroll, tournaments are not expensive and you can win and fill up the bankroll and then go to expensive tournaments!

The main advice: with such a small bankroll and experience, play everything except the cache, otherwise you'll lose everything, it's checked !!!!

good afternoon, friend, I indicate the situations of 0.25c, 45 more players to study the game, and these limits are great for building a good bankroll. Just play poker with rice and beans and throw only figures even if you go far in them.

I started with the same amount that you did. my advice is to you choose the best style of Texas hold em that you like, I see that you prefer to play satellites tournaments its a start.

the second think to keep a look is in your bankroll, never spent more than 1, 2% of it. This is real the psychological effects that spent more than this can make you don't play your best game or make you even a loser player.

good luck with the new challenge of leave up the freerolls and start the real money games, remember, bankroll management is the key of success in poker and in life.

Do not play cash, trust me. SnG is ok, also Bounty Builders, cheap Big and Hot tournaments.

I'm a new one in poker society so that's why info given here and some suggestions are quite benefitial for me as well. As for my own experience I would say that Zoom poker and Bounty Builders with SnGs are rather profitable, try to stick to one u adore most. What's Big Hot - or smth like this mentioned one post above? Haven't heared about it.

Thanks for the replies, I didn't know how to find my post so I haven't read this, sadly after a few days of playing tourney's, I decided to play $0.01/0.02 cash game, from $16 I made it back up to $22, and the next day, I lose $4 still playing thinking I could get it back easily, until it went up to -$8, I knew I had to stop playing for the day but I didn't because I really wanted to earn back the losses I had, so I kept on playing for hours and hours, bad beats after bad beats, making a LOT of mistakes that normally wouldn't happen to me and that time I was already having anxiety, tired and even doubting myself that I wasn't as good as I thought to be, ended up playing for $0.02/0.05 in cash with $4 left managed to get back up to $12, I still didn't stop playing because I was eager to get back all my losses, and now looking up at my $0.00 BR feeling devastated, even though it's just a small amount for some of you here. (I tried my best English hahaha). :D

Practise with play chips, there's no shame in being a beginner.

most would say sit & go ... but being for takes hours to earn little, I think it is more advantageous to play buy-in tournaments of up to 1.10 cents

poker stars has some real good players in the play money arena. That is where you will learn more, while not trying to "get your money back". Always a bad way to think, money lost is money already gone.
You should remember why you lost but not try to avenge your loss. Also with the play chips you can find which type of game you like to play the most, which usually is what you are best at most times.
The beginner ranks in the play money is just like the crazies at the lower buy ins. Once you can start making some chips, you can move up in play as well as competition.

As tough as it is, those times you feel you need to chase that loss and get it back is certainly the time you need to stop and walk away. At that point your judgement is impaired, you start to play too aggressive in places you shouldn't and talk yourself into making calls you shouldn't make. In a cash game, the money in your stack is more valuable than the money in the pot.
