Romario2223 is right, we need more information. Depends on your opponent's play style, your relative stacks, the blinds, your positions, was it a tournament or a cash game, etc.

Do you use a HUD? What was his VPIP, PFR?

What was your position and what was his?
What was your stack and what was his?
What were the blinds?
How much did you open for?
What type of game were you playing?

If you can answer these questions, I believe, you will get much more valuable responses here.

Garbage in = garbage out.

Tought questuion, he is likely to have a set here as having QQ-AA, even maybe AQs that he can not fold.
If he is a station you should bet, but if he is tight I would fold

Not enough info to asnwer your question.

Show a hand history then people can review if you played it correctly.

Correct would be to say how much you've played with this opponent! What noticed his habit, how often he used aggression? And as for the question you asked is hard to say the right to fold. In what position he and you were? There is no quick answer to your question.

Too many unanswered variables to give a decent answer to this one.

in tournament play

Assuming this is tournament play I would say you survived the hand... And that's really the point in tournament play especially early in it is to survive so you can play later... Good players fold winning hands... just don't get pushed around too much...

You cannot win if you fold.

It all depends on various factors as well as reads. Usually a quick call by opponent means he's on a draw. Seeing as a 9 binked on the turn, I would guess he had KQ and possibly made a straight on the turn.

he is probably was in a flush draw so at the time you had the best hand...it was a tought situation but i think that you had bigger odds

Folding top two pair isn't easy and rarely will I.Bet amount could've been a factor. making the opponent pay to see an outcome is the best move for me, even that can be costly but effective 99% of the time.
