my first reaction is that superturbos would not be a good game to play atm, but I don't know what stakes you're looking at and how many buy-ins you have, etc. so it could be reasonable.

Going back to BRM? Super turbo SNG's?
DEEEEEP BREATH.
I know what you're going through. You gotta step back, go down in stakes, rebuild. It sucks, but running bad at stakes you're not rolled for/games your not rolled for is brutal. If you're really stuck, just take a day or two off, review some hands, think a bit. Go donk a freeroll or something. Don't sit back down until you can think about the cards and not the money. May the force be with you.

i only have 33$ left in my account, off of a 20 initial deposit. I had it up to about 200$ but went out of my roll and lost it all...seriously worst feeling in the world. It was the 1$ and 2$ sit n gos, for the record

I personally don't like super turbo tournaments, SnG or MTT. Its way too crazy, but if you only have like a half hour to play then they are something to consider.

Super turbos are the closest thing in poker to the lottery. Luck plays an enormous factor and even if you are good at the sort of push/fold game the variance on these things has to be pretty dang wide.

I am going to assume (correctly, I'd bet) that you are a bit of a gambler at heart, and because of this super turbos are pandering to the biggest hole in your game. Really you might as well just go play roulette.

A buddy of mine ehre is a fan of the 30c satellites to the daily dollar, then obviously take the cash when you win.

Dont play super turbos with a 30$ roll its probally only gonna lead you too bustoville. I agree with caps grind the 30cers untill your rolled for the next level. Best thing to do is start again and learn from the mistake, your not the first to do this and you wont be the last.

I think you can play superturbos, but that you should modify the BRM guidelines you follow to account for the higher variance. 20 or 30 buyins are commonly suggested numbers, but they don't give you the same margin of safety if you're playing high-variance games, where the appropriate figure might be 40 or 50.

The style you play ought to be taken into consideration too IMO.

I wish I could give you advice but I can't because I can't last over a week with a BR. Always get above $50 then go busto, just wish you the best of luck and hope to hear you do well. :)

I would say it depends how you play the Super SnG, if your not afraid to be agressive then you should play them!

$33. you got over 100 buy-ins of 30 cent satellites. Just multi-table them 10-16 tables and play it. It reduces variance, soft game, and if you're a profiting player over the long run, you'll build it in no time. That's how I built my roll with $30.

piece of advice coming up about super turbos: ok, so i got 10$ to fool tilt poker alright? worked it up to 50, down to 30, so never mind, got to 20 eventually, decided to play some 2$ heads-up super turbos. and i play and play and i move up to about 45$ or so, and eventually this player comes, moves all in very first hand, i have something like KQs i think, i make the call, since i was thinking: heck, KQs i well above this fishes all in first hand, shows something stupid like 74o, he wins, and, if you know, it asks you if you want to play again against that player, i click yes, so does he, he moves all in first hand, i have something stupid, i think i can fold a few hands to find a better spot, second hand he moves all in again. i fold again, third hand we get it all in, i show 88 or something like this, he has 2 over J9, he wins.

about this moment i feel like i should play as many as possible against this player as he moves all in every single hand. i managed to win 1 and give me some how, but that's about it, and soon i went broke playing just this 1 player moving all in every hand, sometimes getting blinded off waiting for any decent hand, and even if i doubled up i was either even with him or a small chip leader.

so what i am trying to say is that you should not play super turbos no matter what you do. because there is almost no skill involved, and anyone with a little luck can win above all you poker skills that just don't apply when it comes to shoving almost any 2.

Hey deuces.

Just wondering...for you to go up to a $200 BR from $30 is a great achievment. Was you just playing $1,$2 SitNGo's? If so, was they STT,45,180 MTT or? Then what do you mean you went out of your roll? What was you buying into, i'm curious.

Hope you build it up again soon! I'm sure you can if you have before..

I did alot of .05/.10 cash and .01/.02...i started playing rush, and went to the 20$ buy in to the .25/.50 rush and I did good for awhile, had it up to about 300 and then I went on a complete cooler. Got sucked out on literally every hand, but my bankroll wasnt prepared to handle that bc I was playing outside of it...I focused on cash games, but it's whatever you think works for you

I have only one advice. You lost your BR just because you were on tilt and you started playing bad. Your only problem is the tilt . Try to manage that and you will grind again. Tilt makes you greedy to recover from looses but that makes it worse because of the impatience to take your money back. Try to take a day or 2 off the tables read some material again and then come back. That worked for me. I took 2 weeks off last mounth because i lost 100 dollars. Came back and won my first CC freeroll after half year of membership:) Never touched the money from FT . I leave them there for bad times.
When the times are rough, and things go bad, and you loose 10 dollars at 1-2 SNGs try to take a litle time off and think about it, read a book of poker because you will see the mistakes you made.

And another advice. When the times are bad try to became tight as hell. Tight means patience. You may not realise that but you have the concept of tight implemented and you can educate yourself to respect it untill you trust your judgement again.
