How often should you expect to get in the money when playing free roll tournaments of between 600-1200 people (BetOnline)? Payed places are between 10-40.

Not too often.

Around 1-2 in a month.

That is just for me.

I'd say it depends how many you play. You can't win them all. Beware the variance.

For 1 - 2 a month, how many do you play?
At ACR and Black Chip, they hold a $10 on demand, 270 players needed but usually goes up to 500. Not a great prize pool great for learning. 10 places get paid and should be easy if you play good poker.
Larger player fields requires a lot more luck and patience and demanding on how many you play, gives you a better chance to make the money.

i use to play freerolls on betonline. I really hate 10 handed tables. I think if you play on the site consistent, eventually youll catch onto how their freeroll works, like $10 turbo freeroll seems easier to wait and shove, plus rebuy and add on is like .05 cent each, its much easier to stay patient, just be prepared to shove alot in the late stages. you want to be aggressive against the fishes that are playing crazy on there. i have won euro 2x in row, which starts at 3am where im from. usually that freeroll has little players but its very early and the money is easier to get into rather then playing the 300 freeroll at 9 am. But you should get familiar with it as long as you keep playing, youll probably average 3-5 freerolls a week once you get it down with a little bit of luck and knowledge.

I've played those freerolls at Betonline and I never have even got in the door much less get to the money. They have some of the same tournys on Full Flush but less players. Same thing there for me. I think you would need your skill up to pare and a whole bunch of luck to reach the money 3/4 times a month

If the tournament has 600-1200 entrants, I think if I have patience and if I try to do my best, I can finish in first 40, but noticed I have problems in freerolls with 3500+ entrants. So, if I play good in tournaments with 1200 entrants at most I`m pretty sure that I can finish in money.

The average is about 3.5% of the time or once every 28 games but if you play a tight aggressive style you should have no problem beating that.

When you play that bet online or any of those skins, if you can build up chips early then you will make the money most of the time.. I also dabble with sportsbetting.ag and I have cashed in the midnight 100 one the last 5 out of 6 nights with my best finish a 6th place one. I then use that to dabble in sports betting which then I have no luck.. But zayzoo once you learn how the site works and where the strengths and weaknesses are in your game you will navigate more often.

with 1200 players and 40 paid looks like once every 30 times if you are average. I reality I'd guess it is less. With the fast moving blinds and the number of push and players in those big free fields you need to concentrate on getting through the first half before any real poker playing begins.

If the field is playing too tight, the tourny becomes a push fest at the end.
