I really wonder... lots of people say that if youre a beginner play nl 2. But Iam winning about 50-80 bb/ 100 hands at this level without playing very loose. I got a vpip of around 17-25 % in average. Well i dont know but its really easy taking ppls money at this level. But when i play at nl 10 I feel that theyre not here for fun and get scared of bein the fish at the table so i go back to the nl2 tables. The nl2s im 4-tabling them is that enough combined with my winrate to say i crush this limit? Ive played about 1.1k hands at this level. And i dont know how to play more tables... would feel like work if would just keep folding anything below AK and jj+. I love playing Poker but i dont think that ill get better by playing with ppl folding to any 4bet and 50% of the 3bets ^^.

(Maybe im the best tableselecter ever hehe)

(Plz excuse my bad english)

1.1K hands is not a big enough sample.
See where you are after at least 10K hands.
If your roll is big enough try 5nl tho.

Yeah as ron said sample size is really small, I played a 2nl session last night of about 600 hands for 170bb/100 but am by no means crushing the limit at the moment (working on it though).

You could always give the 2nl deep tables a try if your looking for more in depth play, but there isn't really much in depth of anything at 2nl. It's a different game than the 100bb tables though, so just keep that in mind.

Also why would you go from 2nl to 10nl, and not 2nl to 5nl?

1.1K hands is really small sample. Its like 1 longer session when you are multitabling 4 tables. Maybe you were just lucky :) Keep grinding few more days, then try higher stakes, you will see how its going there

think 10k hands is the minimal sample size you should be looking at and if ur looking to take it seriously then probably 50k is nearer the mark

NL10? What is your bank roll? At least $300?
Less than that and you will feel uncomfortable for sure :)

However, I think its to early to go to NL10 anyways.

Play more at NL2. Its not only that you have 1.1K which is basically a single day session. Have couple of weeks in your log and come back with the results.
Never jump over the limits. Next one is NL5 not NL10

You playing 6max or FR?

In general tight is the better strategy at micros. Most players will go too far with weaker holdings, and stack with hands like TPTK. So you can play big pairs for flopped overpairs and get it in knowing you're ahead of their stacking off range.

Play the same tight style and you should be fine. I experimented with various styles at micros just to see how it went. My normal 6max VPIP/PFR is around 30/25, but that wasn't doing so great at uNL. I tried going more aggro to about 45/35 and that did okay actually, but not nearly as good as toning it down to about 20/15

can help your shorthanded play one table at a time so most of the time your playing short

What is this supposed to mean? How does playing one table have anything to do with playing shorthanded? This makes zero sense

I agree. 1.1k is a super small sample size that lots of people can play in 1 to 2 days. You're just on a heater because even the biggest winners at 2NL like BlackRain79 don't get even close to 50-80 bb/ 100. You really need to put in some volume and see how you are doing at around 50k hands. 50k hands is a good starting point to see your true win rate and then 100k is even more representative.

But if you think 2NL is insanely easy, move up to 5NL once you hit 20 buy-ins. Depending upon the site, 10NL will be drastically harder than 2NL, so study up a well. Best of luck!
