Full Tilt Point Bankroll

So yeah, I've played some cash games, some tourneys, and busted out.

Had about 90 FTP left and started doing satellites and unregistering when/if I won. As of this morning I'm at about 975 FTP. With the FTP I can try to build my bankroll + enter satellites that get me into competitive tournaments, endgoal being trying to get the 6000 FTP, taking first in a satellite for the Sunday Brawl and knocking out just one person, since the KO money is $40/person.

Has anyone used this gambit before to build up a bankroll? I am having wild success with it because people seem to not take their FTP seriously at all. If anyone has tips, I'd be interested in hearing them as well.

trying this too. the problem is that its not real poker though, I'm finding there are a huge overabundence of AA/KK/AK/ etc... and virtually every hand ends in a monster finish.

I tried this once when up to 3000FTPs and lost it all(have no idea how it happened but i lost it quicky) I played tournaments sit&go's and end up losing all so i guess i shouldn't be giving advice huh?

Im having relative success with it, and I really like that 12$ conversion idea. Just gotta build up the old BR before doing something rowdy like doing winner take all tourneys.

The 50 FTP to the daily dollar, is sweet. Lots of fish, and top 2 get 200 FTP

Well yesterday I received my 5000 full tilt bonus from getting 5000 academy credits and I started playing some FTP sng today

When I started I had a bankroll of 60 cents and a total of 5800 ftp (800 were from just playing for awhile.)

Now 3 hours after I started playing I now have over 20 in cash and I still have 4557 FTP left.

I played 4 275 FTP SNG where the winner got 12 bucks.
I wouldn't play the 275 ftp until you have few thousand because with one bad streak you would be done.

Just keep grinding out the 50ftp sat to the daily dollar and then move to the 100 ftp sat to the BLT(same setup as the 50 ftp). Tons of fish which makes it easy to build your full tilt points
So yes you can build a bankroll from using FTP.

That is the plan Matt. What do you think a solid number is to play the 275 FTP tourney, I'm thinking if I have 10 buyins its somewhat safe.

if i were you i'd stick to the 50ftp satty's to daily dollar for a while. if you run well go ahead and play the daily dollar. top 2 get 100 ftp's each(you got to unregister). then if you build your ftp BR up enough(15,000ftps) there is also another 9man satty to the $750k satty. 3rd gets 850ftps top 2 get 2.5k ftps a piece.

You should probably have 15-20 before you start.

With only 10 your really taking a chance.

The odds of you winning are 1 in 9 so you need to have more then 10 buyins to feel comfortable risking 275 ftp each SNG

dude you got a better plan than i do i didnt even think of building my FTP as a bankroll i mostly play freerolls, sometimes i cash and sometimes i dont but i dont play any cash games, atleast not yet i'm still trying to build bankroll until i am cofortable with my game

hey all - I was curious so I wanted to take a look at the 275 FTP SNG but can't seem to find it....can someone point me in the right direction? I'm in the SNG section with all games selected including the FTPs but can't find it...:hmmmm2: What satellite is this to? Maybe if I find the game that it satellites to, I can work backwards from there....I must be losing my mind!

EDIT: Never mind, I see that it's for the Daily Double. I checked off the games that are currently running. Apparently these only run one at a time? Interesting.

You probably saw them when the Daily double was about to start. You'll be able to play more then one of them when the tournament is still a while off.

I have been having thorough success with those 54 man 10 FTP satellites to the BLT, placing first in 3 of my last 6, and its a good 440 FTP haul if you win.

How many points do you have now?

I was able to win another 275ftp and I have over 30 dollars now. All of it came from winning ftp sng. And I still have 3300 ftp. Im gonna play the 100ftp sng to build back up to 5000 and then try and win some more 275ftp.

As of this morning I have built up to 1795 if I'm not mistaken. The satellite to the BLT tourneys (9 man, 100FTP buy in, 1 and 2 get 440 or the entry) seems to be a viable stop right now, any other suggestions at this point?

I would just keep playing the 100ftp until you have enough to play the 275ftp.

I took a chance and played a 1200 ftp sng and won 4400 in it so now im up to 6000.

Wow seriously? That looks hard though... you only start with 300 chips I'm wary of them...
