Ive cashed in 3 freerolls in the past week, but it seems like theyre a lot harder than regular tournaments. Anyone else feel this way ??

Its also kind of hard to stay at a table for 5 hours when all your making is $1.00 lol.

Opinions ??? Thoughts ??

I agree when u say thats hard to keep 5 hours at the table to make so little money. Against other players, if u dont get unlucky and lose to some 57s or similar hands in all ins, when u make some chips its easy to go FT and ITM.

Skill wise they are much much easier But yea - if the prize is low they are not worth putting in hours of play

agreed. Been playing a few BetOnline Freerolls, and they have a nooner for like 300 bucks, (it pays out the top 40 places), but there are like 2000 people enrolled in those tournaments. Its absolutely insane. They last a looooong time too.

Then i think to myself ... if i bit the bullet and actually spent like 4 bucks on one of these tournaments, i would have a pretty nice payday !!

:/

Freerolls are really harder....
Exactlly because what you guys say... sometimes you spend so much hours, and dont win too much for compensate the hours you play.

They're much higher variance due to a combination of the incredibly poor standard of play and the incredibly small payout structure - typically top 1% payout as opposed to a 10% payout in a paid tournament.

But harder? LOLno.

the truth depends on free tournament 're playing as there are a variety of free tournaments that are very competitive and do not sign many players

Multi table freerolls are hard because of its unpredictability.

Hard to read opponents because of those weird moves.

In nature, its a loose aggressive because its a freeroll.

Free rolls are harder than regular Tournaments because many players play very loose since they don’t have to pay to get in. I have encounter the craziest calls even after the flop, I asked them and they reply I don’t care is for free!

I also feel like it's impossible for me to stay patient when the payout for a freeroll that takes 5+ hours is less than a few bucks. A lot harder in my opinion. With that being said, freerolls that you need a password to get into are much easier to grind and don't have so many donks

I think that freerolls are harder than regular tournaments because you sped much time just for cash just 2 o 3$ and that's sick , I prefer the regular tournaments, you can win a lot of money there

So so so much harder, all about the crazy all-ins in the first 30 minutes, by then there will be a couple of players with insane chip leads!

I think they are harder yes... so many players to get thru but mostly because the blind levels increase so quickly and stacks are short... The amount of poor players doesn't really compensate enough for this and they are liable to take you out with some crazy plays...

Cardschat Freerolls are a different matter of course... Lot's of good players and worthwhile if you cash :)

Bullsh... I often make big stack in freerolls only because of fishes, that shove with middle pairs or weak draws. Try to get a one tiny dollar from regulars in paid tournaments, and particularly in cash. Freerolls are just more unpredictable and often having bad structure and very high prize zone.

I strongly suggest that you stick to CC free roll's reason lower feild and bigger first place payouts, couldn't be bothred playing against 5k p[layers for $4 first place waste of my time to be honest

Multi tables in tournament are harder because you just figure how some players play, and then put you on other table ( and you must start from 0 knowing players ) . And also freerols for 1 bucks for 5 hour of playing is something I avoid, and on freerols are all in all the time for most of players.

Depends from the time you have available for playing. The psycology of a tournament with buy-in is more tight from a freeroll.

On the contrary, freerolls much more easier, than the regular tournaments, because you play without risk your money, and you can play bolder.

I like to play Freerolls, cause I don`t have a bankroll to play any other MTT. It`s hard?, we can yes I always read that cause everyone said so.

Now after a year of playing them, I see Freerolls as a huge school, yes we Tilt faster "Cause we can read a Loosing Hand and call it anyway", Bad Beats are more than many, cause you enter an All In much more easy with any AA. Let`s see, the regular MTT`s doens`t happen just the same?

The Money makes the difference, but the rest is just the same.

Go to see the Video on Youtube about the wsop of 2019 when Joe Cada wins the Bracelete. That FT is something amazing.

From my point of view a freeroll it's a bit harder and you need a bit more patience at the first part when the gamblers are going allin with 8-2, Q-3 ,7-2 cards :) After this "allin" seesion it's not so hard...
