My freerolls experience is that you gotta go huge on a great hand, even like ak, or aq, go allin! especially to double up early on cause then people fear you! what you think?

No, at least not for the first hour where players will call big raises and all ins with anything.

i would go allin with AK or AQ, in a freeroll.
but i dont think i would want to do that in a cash tournie.
unless i was the chip leader, then i would just be a bully.

I think it depends opn the amount of players in the tourney. Such as if there are more than 1 or 2 thousand i would be more likely to call and all in with AK or AQ. But if there was only 200 or 300 people i would play more conservative.

I don't think that peolpe should go allin in the begining of the freeroll. Even if you have AK, AQ, etc. Alin you go with AA or KK not with other hands. In the beginning every fool goes all in with even nothing. I have experience that if you take it slow in the beginning (wait for the firts three cards) than you can go all in.

The possibility that you can loose the hand is to big. Maybe this is because of my own experience but the way that I play now is better.

I dont go all-in in the beginning of a freeroll with a premium hand unless I'm forced. I look at freerolls as a way of improving my game with no financial risk involved at a chance to get something for nothing.
And as for the fear factor, I look at those players with a large chiplead early on as a fish b/c half the time, they usually are and I don't feel intimidated or scared of the chip leader and rather look at them as a good source of chips.
All I really have left to say is if you dont play a solid game even in a freeroll you may lose your focus.

If I am in a freeroll and it is first few hands and I have AK or AQ I am going allin every time because it will pay off more times than it doesent. If it doesent then it is another freeroll gone forever, but if it does pay off then you are sitting pretty sweet at beginning of tournament. If you look at stats I gurantee them are a couple of best hands to start with so get froggy and jump!:deal:

I agree here.. If i'm going to take a coin flip (Or most the times a lot better) situation in a freeroll, I want it to be at the very beggining when I havn't invested much time.. If i get beat, oh well join up for another one.

Once I get a big stack then I start playing my game.

I'll be honest in most freerolls I don't play much different to the buyins, and this has served me pretty well in both. I dont want to risk my tourney on a coin toss ever but especially when i dont have too, I might go allin with these hands later on when blinds are bigger and if I'm short stacked, likewise I might call and allin with AK if I'm deep stacked and I have a chance to put a short stack out but other than that generally no.

First Hour in Freeroll I play Kamikaze strategy (Wing big or die fast). AQ, AK and any pair starting 77 and up (all in). Any pair 22-66 and any 2 cards starting from 10 and higher limp in, if the price is right. It works for me.

In freerolls people will go all-in with anything like 2 3 and win.I have seen it.They don't have anything to lose it's free.

At the beginning of the tournament even if AK is all in, he will certainly be called with much worse hands and always have a percentage of losses.

I feel like especially towards the beginning a lot of players aren't even trying with free-rolls, they will pitch with just about any hand all in sometimes and then you get busted. Not a fun experience, but the pitching does whittle down the field pretty good.
