I sometimes play in this free poker League that takes place in places like Local Pubs. You play for points and gift cards and the Pub/Restaurant you play at. It's a fun free way to play Live. But where the problem comes in is I do not know if it's good or bad for becoming a better or worse player due to how poorly people play with the "I don't give a crap" mentality. All in pre-flop is heard much too often and feels like the whole tournament is a coin flip leaving very little room for any kind of skill to play a large role. I am not there for the prizes, but more just the fun of playing live and competing. But it can become frustrating with the type of players it attracts. Whats your view on Free Poker Live? Thanks.

I think its a very good learning tool. Most of the players in the cardschat league are also pretty good.

With free poker games begin, many players. For training or leisure is good. In the free games is convenient to practice new to them tactics and strategies. But I think that a more rapid growth is necessary to play for money.

When playing this game , involuntarily relax , because I play for free and it affects the quality of the game . Worst of all when it comes to the game on your money . Preferably always refers to the game seriously . Well, in live poker you need to have strong nerves .

It should be a good thing. This way you can see where you stand, determining if you should put up real money to wager goodluck

I played in the Eastern poker league for a few years and I felt it improved my game. I think the number of different hands along with playing against many different styles of players was a great learning tool

I have a fair amount of success when playing live both for money and with the free live poker league. But still wondered if it could be negative for me game just due to such horrible play from casual random players.

Bad... it's not poker until there's something to be risked by players.

On the one hand, any game brings invaluable experience, but until I started playing for money, I do not understand poker absolutely - something like that

I think it is boring to play with opponents who doesn't play serious. I am tired of such players. I wouldn't like it. But of course it is a good chance to learn to play live. Me for example I played just online and I could imagine I would have problems to play live because I couldnt just click buttons.

free poker is a fairly good way of practicing and refining your skills, as long as you treat it like that and don't relapse into any bad habits.

free poker is ideal for beginners to learn the basics of poker. Further, if the player wants to develop himself, he will play for real money

If it's for one a month to play with some friends , that's ok , but if you're to compete regularly against these people who are sooo much lower than your level or the average level generaly , the only logical is that this will adversely affect you , so I wouldn't do that if I were you :) .The 5k-7k players online freerolls might be better than those ''pub'' or ''resturant'' ones IMO .
