Hello

I am a retired poker pro. I am interested in getting involved with the game but not grinding anymore.

My specialty is full ring cash. I was the 14th top earner for 400nl before black Friday. My style is based around patience, control. I know how to balance my gut with logic. I have a deep understanding of the game and would be happy to teach those who are interested.

I am looking for dedicated degenerate gamblers. People who should quit but won't. I would like to give you a chance to break even.

Regards

sounds like a good opportunity.

What kind of time commitment do you intend?

5hrs a week per student

How much time I give each student will vary. Depending how quick they finish assignments, playing set amount of hands ect.. Also the amount of students I get will fluctuate a little. I don't require anything of my students. Your learning is mostly up to you.

Regards

I might be interested but honestly...where's the proof of your ability? Graphs, wins, opr, anything? Absolutely no offense but if your not up to the ability you say you are it could be a big waste of time or worse, bad advice leading to further demise!

Do you always ask to see someones cards before you call?

This is a strange preflop situation.

unknown sits down and offers coaching. He checks should I check or just auto fold?

As far as I can tell he has nothing to gain. I possibly do have something to gain. should I call or fold?

Look you are obviously a losing player. I hope you quit poker. Better to spend your time on something useful for society. If you can;t I would like to help you not be too much of a degenerate.

Hello all

I guess I will have to narrow down the field so I have enough quality time to give.

I'm really looking for horrible players. Preferably guys with long term losing averages.

Please PM me with the limits you play and amount lost and over what time periods.

Beginners I recommend quitting the game

Do you use and poker tracking software?
Have you read any poker books?
Do you think you can learn how to play poker by watching televised events?
Do you wear sunglasses to the casino?

If I start coaching you and discover you are ok I will auto fold you

Wooooow thats somethin right there! For the record, im slightly profitable, NOT losing. So this is indeed a strange situation where I simply requested seeing some sort of results to base your offer off of and instead was insulted and told to quit something I enjoy doing. Way to go! :congrats: You should quit being an a-hole perhaps and maybe just quit life altogether. Good day!

quit life altogether. Good day!

Woah no need for that.

Anyway Huha probably not the best first post if you are offering legit coaching telling people to just quit poker and insulting them.

Didn't exactly mean it like off yourself or anything lol. Just meant it like you really are a ***** and should just give up on your own goals!

You should not be telling beginners to quit imho.

We want more players playing poker and a coach would not say to his or her beginners in poker to quit before they began, that to me is a negative losers attitude.

Bit harsh on the quit life altogether lol I just believe he should quit coaching poker if he tells beginners to quit without even starting to play.

If the poker world did not have beginners then eventually the poker world would die and that would be a shame :(

Horse meat is a big nay, but I could eat donks all day, my new motto hehe :D

Again taking it too literally lol Just think the guy has a huge attitude problem when simply asked for references.

Obviously though, I don't see many taking him up on his offer after seeing the negativity toward beginners. Tries to come off as a very helpful person in the OP and then totally takes a 180. Shame because I truly was interested at first.

I totally agree he definitely has not got the attitude needed for coaching anybody.

I got abused the other day for busting a girl from Croatia out of a tournament I was in, she was calling me a racist and a fascist?? I said in the chat she should give up poker if she can not handle being beaten, which she replied "It is not because of poker, it is because I hate your country" I replied Then you are the racist no-one else lol

She started being very nice after that :D

Just a user ID you can give from the sites you played to determine if this training is beneficial for me. Just give me your nicknames; and I'm happy to sign up for some free poker coaching.

That is all I was getting at. If he crushed 400nl to be 14th most profitable pre-bf then surely he has the proof to back it up. One would be naive to believe such a feat from someone with 1 post (at the time) with no backing.

And comparing my statement to a hand of poker is just plain silly and nonsensical lol

When it comes to free coaching you should verify someone's credentials. There are many coaches out there with near zero poker knowledge who will offer free coaching as a way of avoiding being asked for credentials then later try and charge for their services outside of the forum.

Stating the obvious and perhaps being levelled here but figured I should say something just in case someone PMs this guy.

*Goes uber defensive and insults anyone who asks for credentials
*Will only take very poor players incapable of judging his ability
*Asks for very poor players yet recommends beginners quit

Hypothetically if this guy is legit (pigs will fly) he'd still be an awful coach given he responds venomously to being asked questions.

And there is always the chance that he just scams you by using teamviewer to see your cards as he "coaches" you, while also playing at the same table.

Do you use and poker tracking software? No, I just rely on my reading abilities.
Have you read any poker books? All of them out there, but I don't seem to get better because of it.
Do you think you can learn how to play poker by watching televised events? This is the ONLY way I learn to play poker. Obviously if the pros are doing it, I should do it!!
Do you wear sunglasses to the casino? Of course!! I can't let them read my intentions!!

If I start coaching you and discover you are ok I will auto fold you
