Preflop? I think it is. Can't tell you the amount of times I've called and been sucked out on.

You refer to S & G? Usually I give call with KK, QQ, JJ, then down is bad, often the person has even less than these. Many people give all in with A and any other card.

It depends on the people who are playing the hands.. But in most of the cases, like asedu said, JJ is fold and QQ depends.. KK is almost impossible to fold pre-flop. It´s important to remember that in SNG and Bounty Builder Tournament Recreational Players, use to play in a loose way.

Well I played JJ today vs AK off, and KQ off, and guess what?? The queen was on the flop. :( So, next time I'll think harder.

So this just goes to support the comments about QQ and KK. JJ is hard early in tournament, or at any point. So I agree that early, it doesn't really play well 3 or 4 way. I believe that I have folded it in your exact situation early on, and then seen opponents turn over A 5 off and pocket 8's, and then watched the board brick out. So it does go both ways. It really does depend on your opponents and how much they have invested in the tournament and how much they care. The less they care, the looser their play.

I just ended one tournament when went all in with KK and after me 2 other player called.. all similar stacks. All chips went to 44 when river showed 4. Third player had 22... So.. folding KK can be wise move sometimes.

It depends on in what phase of tournament are you in.

For freerolls, i'll call with any of those. For real tournaments, always call with KK. Mostly QQ, but not vs 3. Wouldn't call all in with JJ.

I just got shafted playing QQ early in the EPT live freeroll.
Middle position, first to put in. My all in got called by table chip leader with A 7.

568 Q 9

What else can you do but laugh ... :banghead:

I'm probably the one player that will call with any of these especially in a freeroll.

When Theres 3 players All in before you
Even with AA we got only 50% + equity
So yeah I would call with AA , KK & QQ
and anything below i would definitely fold

Just because you lost does not mean folding KK can be a wise move...
You had 67% equity on a triple up. I would take those odds all day every day.

Most people would call a all in with AK or AQ , so when u are going all in think about it this way QQ would be a flip KK are mostly a favor if they do not have ac's but I can see myself folding jj and 1010 because early tourney I would not probably want a flip and want to preserve my stack. let me know what u think about my theory

Well, in my experience of poker player.... if you're in an early tourney and someone go allin you should see in what position you are.... if you're in early-mid position with jj or TT or suited card of same color you have a good chance to Win. 😉

With 3 people all in early in a tournament, I guess its a micro. Personally, I wouldn't fold KK or QQ. I'm all in. I would rather get sucked out on early and move to something else then flounder around for 2 hours with a short stack. Play for 1st place.

Depends on the tournament. In the situation like you mentioned you may fold JJ without problems. QQ's chances are not bad and you have quite a good chances, but also depends of the tournament. KK is very tough decision to fold. Depends once again on the level of the tournament, your stack and the stack of the guys who raised/called all in before you.
