Having difficulty remembering all the proper starting hands and which position to play them from? Then try the following. Buy some flashcards and print or write a starting hand and and the position, early, middle and late on the front, and how to play the hand on the back, of each card. Each card can be used three times (for each position). Shuffle the cards, see the front of one , decide the position and note the playing criteria. If unsure of the answer look at the back. The cards are portable and can be used any spare time you have. Once you have mastered the starting hands, be aware that what you have learned are general guidelines for starting hands, and not to be played like a robot the same way every time. Vary your game!
