Hey all, I had a question, I usually do minimum deposit on pokerstars which is 10 bucks.
I have a couple questions, first would be:

What kind of games are recommended to play?
and
And what should I be buying in to generally?

If it helps my play style is generally tight and when i get a big stack i tend to loosen up,
and i dont mind grinding it out, I just wanna become better.

To become better continue to read all the good stuff and implement them into the game. With 10$ you can try to play spin and goes win every 3rd and you will be improving poker plus u will be good in money assuming x3 or more of buyin. or simply try micro zoom poker, it is fast way to play a lot of hands and you can't lose much money just to play like nuts. Go watch some videos how to play micros poker.

Good luck,

Hi. Why not try tournaments? There you have the chance to win times more than your buy-in. You will also have the opportunity to test different strategies.

While you are new to the game, the best way to meet it is a battle at the lower limits. Jumping to a higher rate can cost you dearly and in no way will help you learn discipline.
When you start playing poker, you need to understand what discipline you want to choose. In order to understand which form of poker suits you.
When you choose this question, you will immediately become easier to play and understand what actually you are going to play poker.
Focus on one discipline!

I think that with this amount you will only waste time playing a few cents an hour. This is suitable for training and training, but if you want to start winning real money you must have a bankroll for higher bets.

Are you thing that he's ready to going in deep water? I'm playing few years and still did't ready. First one player must have a successful strategy and game behavior to start betting. Of course bigger bets lead to higher profits but also bigger losses.

You said you usually do a minimum deposit of $10. I take from that your bankroll is actually more than $10. If so, I'd suggest something that isn't exactly good bankroll management (depending on exactly where your limit is).

If you play NL2 6-max cash games I believe that gives you the best opportunity to increase your bankroll in a reasonably expeditious manner. (<-- million dollar sentence). Watch a lot of them first to see how people are playing. When you are ready buy in for $1. I say $1 (or 50%) because at this level you'll still be taken seriously without having to risk twice as much from your fairly small bankroll. Set up automatic rebuy/top-up so that you start every hand with at least $1 stack size. If you go below $1 you won't be taken seriously enough. It's a fine line.

The nice thing about cash games for those of us with little patience is that you can quit whenever you want. Tournaments are BAD for those of us without patience.

I started playing the $ 1 up because I thought the game was taken more seriously and less all in all the time

$0.25 90 and 45 man. The structure is slow so you get loads of hands and can be patient.
