at the micros stakes besides the multi tablers, do you feel weaker players are aware of position and do they play accordingly?

For Example lets say i open from UTG with Kh-Qh and raise to 4x do you feel that the average new weak player whos calling from HJ has something substantial or is just a calling station perhaps its my inexperience but i find besides the reg multi tablers the weaker player and i am a novice as well have no method. and seem hard to play against even when my range is tight. iunderstand i have lots to learn. andy advice is appreciated . Thank you

Weak players ignoring position

Weak players, and even a lot of decent players, don't respect position. They don't care what position you are in, they are just playing the cards in their hand and assuming you are doing the same. If you're making raises out of position and it does not alter how someone is playing then I have two pieces of advice for playing against that type of player.
First, treat your hands as though position does not matter. Don't think you're showing strength out of position, just play marginal hands as though you would in mid position, meaning not a lot of raising, some, but not a lot.
Second, do not bluff these people. If they are unwilling to throw hands away pre-flop they will certainly be unwilling to throw away a pair after the flop. Not only do they not see position properly, they also do not recognize when something is on the board (such as 3 to a flush). They might, and that's a big might, fold to four to a flush on the board, but at that point they could also have the flush.
So, when playing against this type of weak player avoid large pre-flop bets out of position and avoid bluffing them. You have to be a "strong enough" player to identify and fall for either.

Raising 4x preflop is too much. You generally want to 2-2.5x raise preflop. 3x is OK before the antes come in.

If your are 3betting then 4x is fine but start with smaller raise.

My advice for micros is don't bluff much and bet your monsters hard all streets as you will get called light as JonathanAReth mentioned.

You can bluff some but pick and choose who you do it against.

Are you using HUD or any tracking software?

than and NH . i currently am not using any software i used a trial of poker trackers am debating whether to use holdd em two or tracker. as well ive been playing several micro satellites for seats and ive been happy with my palcings missing a seat twice by ony a few seats where only one seat is rewarded. On that note how do you deal with extremley aggressive opponents in microstakes where rebuys are unlimited for the first hour and a rebuy gives them another stack of 30-20 bb in the first hour most the time. I am under the understanding their play is not conventional as in perhaps bigger buy in or ones with no buy ins they would not take this approach. they are shoving with ave stacks not 8-10 big blinds and you can tell its completely reckless when you see most of their cards. yet for me its frusterating as i find myself folding strong holding just because i am trying to play as if i only have one buy in and i have been getting to final tables recently with player pools of 50 to 300 but like i said it is frusterating. i understand most of these guys fizz out once thr rebuys make them short stack but for that first hr and a bit i see myself losing opportunity to capitalize on strong holdings or flops that i would have paired the board with well losing lots of value and stack accumulation. any input is appreciated thanks again jonathan and NH

All once played poorly, all once played poorly. But everyone learns, in different ways, but learn

Most players at the micros don't think about position. Fancy play will get you in trouble against these types of players. Just stick to playing big hands aggressively, don't bluff and only play speculative hands when getting good odds.

Not wanting to get bubbled after three hours of play, some players just look for a double or triple up in the first hour of play. If they win, they don't have to sweat a bubble, if they lose they can go do something productive, like mow the lawn or shovel snow or fire up a grill.
