Target #1 is to definitely focus on great starting
hands, unless you're one of the last three to act and maybe have a reason to play a weaker hand due to blinds or acting last. It's important to narrow the starting hands you play even more because not only are you "fast folding" and playing many hands looking for the best ones to play, but your opponents are likely doing the same too. Once I'm actually in a hand, then I play a little more cautiously as well since I'm under the assumption that my opponent was playing a good starting hand as well and keeping that in mind for my bets.
