I've been advised by the lovely people here to move down in stakes from 10nl, but the only way that I can make the tables appear is if I allow "Fast Tables" in the filter.

Also most seem to be in Euros? Not that it really matters as I use pounds sterling as my deposit currency :p

So what are the differences please, if any, apart from presumably being given less time in a hand to make your decisions...

With fast, I think it's just that, not noticed a difference myself. FWIW, though, I've found the € tables to be the most fish so if you're a tag player, you should have no problem there. Have a look, and usually they will be the ones with the highest Players to Flop and Avg. Pot sizes.

So if you deposit in pounds you can't play the dollars tables?? It does seem weird that you can only see fast tables. There is no difference except less time for decisions, I prefer the fast tables

You must have something in your filter blocking non fast tables, I mix normal and fast and usually couldn't tell you what kind of table I acted last on so the difference is very minimal if there is one at all.

Euro tables are def fishier btw

Should get all sorts of tables in there now, you can untick the players seated and min players per flop boxes and the whole lobby will come in i think

The point that I was trying to make was PS will have to do a currency conversion, regardless of whether I play $ or Euro tables.

You must have something in your filter blocking non fast tables
Yes, the fact that I don't have Deep [100-250 Big Blinds] checked :p

Anyway thanks for all the input, sounds as though the Fast Euro tables might be my next port of call :)

Actually having Deep [100-250 Big Blinds] checked doesn't help either, it was only when I checked Other that the low value $ tables appeared, so it must be something to do with buy-ins.

Ya there must be something wrong with your filters, maybe try clearing everything in advanced for now? You should play both fast and normal speed tables for the best table selection. Btw at NL5 and NL2 all tables are "other" I believe. The other categories don't apply.

And sit at euro tables and you can click auto convert currency, so everytime you sit down at euro tables it automatically converts the right amount of dollars to euros, which you can exchange back to dollars or whatever after you leave the table, definitely worth it as they're fishier tables and gives you even more table selection.
