Hello! I am a fake money player that plays on Zynga Poker on Facebook. I became aware that playing using fake money is almost a completely different game then using real money. I don't have experience playing real money because I am on a disability check so playing real poker isn't allowed for me.

I tried to just use the same strategy you would use in real money poker. However, lately, it seems like clouds have opened up and rained bad luck on me.

I once had around 22 million in fake chips (no I don't purchase chips, that seems like cheating to me.) I had a full house with three kings and two aces so I went all in with my 22 million chips and lost to a full house with three aces and two kings. So now I am down to 400K chips.

People really, REALLY like to challenge your hands with their terrible hands. You can have pocket aces and make a set on the flop and someone will call your all in with their nine two off suit. This happens so often just simply because the chips aren't real.

I got beaten with 4 5 off suit with three of a kind aces because they made their straight on the river. I guess I just have to become more aware of potential straight and flushes. I really love it when I have a flush and get beaten by a full house. XD

Free rolls are almost as badly played as play money poker, but at some point there is a chance some real poker will break out. Would recommend those over play tables. Continue to post questions & comments on CC & before long you will be qualified for CC free roll club. The games ate tougher than standard poker site free rolls, but much smaller fields, so the opportunity to cash is there, as well as the opportunity to improve your game & meet some really good people. Give it a shot & welcome to the forum.

Thanks! I can't do free roll poker either, if there is any "real money" involved I can't play it. Whatever money I get I have to report it and they take out of my disability check. This goes for a lot of things even "gifts". This is a huge downside of having a disability check, the government limits to what you can do with it. So until the day I get off my disability check, I am pretty much sunk in the water. If I didn't have it, I would love to go to those micro stake tables to start off with.

I live in Vegas but can't take advantage of it. :( Oh well I guess.

I'd suggest playing freerolls too and the play money sections of real poker sites. Even though they are still with fake money, the play is considerably better than fake money on a fake site. Good luck!

OMG I can't believe you can't get involved in a freeroll through your disability check, I think that is really unfair, even a bit discriminative maybe??? Welcome to CardsChat anyway, and I hope there will be a day when you get off your check. The play money and real money games are worlds apart.

Zynga playmoney is so easy to beat.
have a good bankroll management.
bring in 50BB to the table,

there is no statergy all you going to do is preflop all in or fold...
it is so easy to get chips.

starting from 1K ...
see how much I get for fun...just push or fold...
Capture

PS: all in or fold is the same part of real money and fake money.... esp you know fake money has no RAKE.
this month, there are so many important sports, I cannot miss ...so one eye on live , one eye brainless push or fold...:D

My best guess, Uncle Sugar doesn't have a lot of manpower assigned to monitoring poker sites to make sure no one drawing disability is cashing a couple of $ in a free roll. Just sayin. By the way, unless or until you actually withdraw money you have won from a site, you don't have it, you merely have access to it.

In poker, money is also not a few cases of curious happens. You move on to play cash freerolls and you will have the addition of money. It will be small, but free of charge. You do not need to make a lot of money in the poker room. Only 10 or 20 dollars. After the money you could take back

Just be aware that bankroll management is just as important on play money tables as it is on real money. Don't commit 99% of your money on one hand. Play within the limits of your roll and let variance and solid poker strategy give you the advantage over the bingo players. Professionals have said that you should never commit more than 5% of your bankroll, even if you think you have an aquarium instead of a table. GL in your continued ventures.

I don't understand, why Isn't real poker allowed for you (Even If on Disability) . I don't know where you're from, but If you can't play poker with "Real money", than at-least play "Free-Rolls" for real money, Is that not allowed also, or Is It against the rules some-how:confused: .

Welcome to CC btw, great forum you picked, lots of "Free $$$" going around all the time to be won In the "CC Free-Rolls".
