Today, I got bitched out by two players because I was raising on pre flop constantly (limit). They would fold, I would have a showdown with another player (who checked) and I happened to win all those hands.

Eventually, I got bitched out by two of the players for raising too much on pre flop, and I was wondering if there were some kind of etiquette that I wasn't aware of?

Limit Poker is a game of compassion and friendly poker. People are expected to play nice, passive, and friendly so that absurd suckouts are viewed as acceptable fun in the name of the game.

Really? Keep up the good work. ;) Apologize profusely for offending them and keep raising the crap out of them.

Limit poker, especially the lower limits, is just filled with players who want to see the flop, any/every flop, as cheaply as possible and hope to flop huge. Just keep raising them with your strong hands pre and make them pay for the privledge of playing their crap hands. Just beware if they DO flat your raises and then turn all aggro on you on later streets.

Anyway, just raising your strong hands pre flop and folding all the rest will go a long way towards making you a winning player at the low limits. You'll likely have a few issues in the popularity department, though, as you have experienced. Arahel isn't that far off. Many limit players are actually just looking for a friendly game and some inexpensive entertainment. When someone comes along who is willing to play more aggressively pre-flop, it spoils their fun and they can get bitchy.

Haha you run into a lot of "interesting" people when you play online poker. at the end of the day you're entitled to play your hand however you want to, and you aren't out there to make friends you're out there to win. of course you will probably end up making some relationships as you go along, but goal #1 is to profit. players are complaining because you are raising? don't worry about that...

This comment is right on. Are you trying to make friends or win money. I'm in the latter category. Raise the crap out of them. Tell them to try another table if they are unhappy.

If you were in a friendly weekly game maybe, but online do what you will. However, if you get no action then perhaps find another table or at least mix up your play a bit - you want them in with marginal hands.
