Good Afternoon to everyone.

Just joined the forum and looking forward to getting involved.

Basically I'm a student and play a fair amount of online poker. I play the $3.50 Turbos on pokerstars (9 Man).

Basically I have a target of earning $30 a day as an income (Being a student I live at home so have no outgoings) which would be plenty for me.

I was just wondering how many tables I would need to play at a time, and how many games a day do you think I would need to commit to to reach this target?

I've read a lot of other posts about people wanting to make a living from grinding SNG's but my target is quite small, but enough for me.

I look forward to hearing your suggestions.

P.S - I understand that the best way to grind is through cash games but for some reason I just can't play them. I'm looking to change this :)

Hi,

Well I'd say a good/realistic ROI% for turbos would be maybe 10%. Someone might be able to correct me if I'm wrong here as I don't play them enough to know a realistic roi% for these games.

To achieve this; you would need probably 100 games a day to earn $30.00..on average.

This all depends on your skill level though and if you can even achieve a 10% roi.

wow that's a lot of games, even playing 5 hours a day would require 20 tables an hour. So I guess the only way would be to up the stakes?

Maybe instead of a $30 a day goal just play what your comfortable with and at your rate then see what your average income is then go from there.

earning 30$ a day is quite the goal... achievable, but it will be a difficult challenge due to variance. What is your success rate so far? How many games do you play per day on average? are you currently a winning player? I've been thinking about doing a Double or Nothing SNG challenge myself... I want to play 150-200 in a week and see where I come out... I seem to be a winning player in them for the most part.. i would say i've been cashing 2 out of 3... which isn't a bad deal...

have you considered these DoN games?

I would reccomend upping the stakes a bit , playing $25 nl xash, or trying the Double or Nothing $5 or $10s . Best wishes!
