Hey guys,i have a question for you !
I would like to ask if it is possible to build a roll (staring roll 20$) on DoNs on 888 poker.I would like to play sets of 15-20 sngs.Starting limit would be 0.55$.
Is it a good way to start or do you have some better sngs for this?
Thank you!

I do not know, about 888 Poker, but I know on winning network the 10 dollar and 15 dollar don's are great if u r a good short handed player. I have a friend that won 18 out of 20 of 15 dollar don's.. I love hyper turbo's the don's to me are not my style... If you can do it, I would recommend doing the 3 or 5 dollar ones.. If you are not that confident, then build it up with cash or mtt's...

The problem with don's is that enough of the people have figured out that not playing anything but super premieum hands and ther occasional steal after folding 20 hands in a row.
Not too hard but the only way to make any BR is to play in the 22 and above numbers.

well, are you really that sure that dons arent profitable?
I think that those low stakes are pretty beatable imo,but we will see.I want to enlarge my roll using the safest way so...that is why i picked DoNs

I play the $1.10 and occasionally $2.20 DoN's on Carbon and they are definitely beatable. The majority of players at these stakes are making tons of mistakes such as 4-bet shoving hands like QJo in the first level, open-limping spec hands in EP with only a few BB behind, or getting into multi-way all-ins on the bubble.

DoN's are great for BR building but they have to be played differently than regular SNG's, there are some strategy threads on the forums.

I went and played an 11 then 22 DON at CP and by playing very few hands and then like I said above premium with the occasional steal monied in both, so I guess DON's are and can be profitable

I decided to rotate to heads up. I don't have much experience in heads up play, just played around 1.5k hands with very decent results but I know it's way to early to judge

Its a great place to start at DON to build a bankroll.

Look for a minimum buyin to start with.

Double ups are nice if you can string together 3 out of 4 wins to turn profit I seem to lose at double ups over time where as I do better at regular sngs or tourneys all together

Yes, this format is a very good one to have an edge on the rest of the field. Its a shame that it takes quite a bit of rake so that it isn't a complete double up, but it is still a good SNG

Yes it is possible, but you got to play

a bit tighter and narrow your range a bit.

Lets the other players knock each other out and dont get

involved without premium hands.
