For example in my last game, I was last in chips with 6 left. I had about 5 bbs left. MP who had 8 bbs limped. With ATos on BTN I shoved. He calls with 88.
Coinflip. I lose. Been losing them all.
Apart from being a good, solid, observant and analytical player, DoN is all about getting your money in good, often with small edges and playing a lot of volume. Of course, luck is a part of the game but constantly having an edge(even a small one) will result in profits in the long run.

No need to raise 3BB when blinds get large. You're just throwing your chips away and commiting yourself unnecessarily. Raise 2,2 BB and you'll be fine.
