Hi,
I have taken a couple of poker tests at donkeytest.com and testyourpoker.com and find the initial analysis very interesting. I am wondering whether to spend money on these sites for their tailored courses.

Anyone got any experience with these or can recommend any other resources that can help me id and plug my leaks?

Thanks

Its hard to recommend anything without more info on your level of experience, stakes and so on.

I have no experience with the sites you mentioned. Leakbuster mentioned above is a good tool, but it works best in conjunction with a poker tracker, and if you dont have one of those, I dont know if you can get real benefit from it. A coach is only gonna be a realistic option if you already have the basics down real good.

Books and training sites will help, but it is all on you, meaning you only get out of it what you put in. There are many good ones, but which one could be best for you depends on what game and which stakes you play

One great way to spot leaks is to post hand histories in the appropriate section. It is a great spot to begin, if you havent already.

I've been playing real money online for a year. I only play tournaments sng, bounty hunter, occasional dym and mtts.
I play these games coz I "learnt" poker on zynga where ring games were just all in lotteries so I played sng on that for 4 years. As soon as I played for money (online) I realised I had to learn quick.
I play pretty basic poker. Rarely bluff until "in the money" but I grind along at the micro stakes and am slowly showing a profit - pure pocket money.
My biggest leak seems to be shoving at the wrong time, whether its mathematically correct I'm not sure, for instance I just shoved 55 from the big blind against the small blind with about 9BBs and lost on the river to his AQ.
I'm using the trial SNG whizz at the moment but that's gonna take ages for me to properly understand.

Thanks, it don't feel right when it loses and I might have got better cards on the next orbit though.
I know I need to add more weapons to my arsenal, such as 3 betting. A couple of times I have raised by accident when I meant to fold and have stolen the pot but I'm no good at recognizing the spots.
It always seems that when I change my game I lose but maybe I just don't try over enough hands to even out the variance, donks, bad cards etc.
