Hi guys,

what are dooos and donts of chip handling and betting in a live game.

what are some meanings behind the following? tells etc.
splashing the pot.

pushing chips so they tip towards dealer

chip tricks while in the hand

touching cheaper chips and more expensive.

asking how many chips u have

All depends on the player doing those actions. Noobs, you can maybe use those tells to judge weakness or strength. Seasoned players who think you're a noob may reverse those tells to try and trick you.

I've found that you need to look for deeper tells. Twitches of fingers. Direction of eyes. Involuntary foot tapping. Pulse in the neck. Those tend to be a bit more reliable when paired with betting patterns and player history. Though none are 100% accurate.

Generally, when betting live, I use the same amount of time and same motions for each bet so I don't give away information.

I count 1-1000, 2-1000, 3-1000, between each action. I count out my chips, then put them in the pot the same way every time.

Very robotic.
