Not really, I tend to tilt when I make mistakes (or rather several in a row), rather than being on the bad end of a villains mistake.

I rarely tilt I don't even think I do. I just get it out and try again and hope for a better next time.

I rarely tilt. You should try not to tilt because tilting you causes to play more careless and when your opponents have good hands, they'll have you where they want you and they will capitalize on your tilt. Try staying calm after getting sucked out or losing a big pot.

If I play a big tournament, I have to remain calm, but if it's happen on a freeroll maybe I go mad and want to win it back as soon as possible, no matter what.

I actually find myself playing even less aggressively for a little while, just to avoid making stupid mistakes. Playing on tilt has rarely helped me

Often I do, but I recognize this now. I try to take steps to get off tilt as quickly as possible. This includes taking a short break, or even a few deep breaths and telling myself that I need to let the bad beat go.

I would never go on tilt until recently. I lost 14 tourneys in a row and to guys playing crap cards. Not just a game or two but every game. I would be playing just perfectly as I am capable and making great reads only to get whippled time and time again.

I started to loose it. It wouldn't have been too bad except it was on 3 different places and always 9 off that seemed to beat me.

Anyhow, I realized that I started to tilt really bad and so I would sit the hands out completely and watch from afar off and wait until I had a monster and only call the hand down. I totally went into Super NIT mode until I came back and finally one a match.

I don't think I do. After a bad beat or getting sucked out on, I remember what a nice lady on FF said, "Thats poker". Variance can be a real bitch. But over the long run getting.my money in good will win out. I also only play mtt and s&g within my BR. So one.Good cash and I never remember the the times my AA get cracked with 84o. Lol. Hope this helps ...Tal

When I started to play I was on tilt more often than now. After a while I was able to improve myself and actually I'm on tilt rarely. Play more and more games and you will be able to handle bad situations, bad beats .

Nah.

Learn to shrug bad beats off. They do nothing for you and getting mad over something you have no control over doesn't make any sense. You can't control what cards your opponent plays and you cant control what cards come out on the board. As long as you're making +EV decisions and getting your money in good, that's all that matters. Don't worry about results. Focus on decisions, not results.

Decisions > Results, 100%

Most of the time, they probably aren't that bad and are likely standard or just coolers.

No really, because I know that poker is partly the game of luck and everything can happened. You should just keep your hair on, forget about it and continue.

i can remember back playing on fulltilt, the day i took a bad beat and thru my coffee mug thru my desktop monitor,of course that isnt normal so i took a good break from online poker -when i came back i was privy to some coaching, thats where i learned about entitlement tilt-and to reconize it-when i feel myself getting pissy when i dont win hand ,i stop playing and go do something offline for a bit-we dont always win the hands we feel we should, left unchecked it will put you on tilt -entitlement tilt, reconizing tilt is half the battle the hardest half for sure imo
