Hello i want ask you Something
Do you even think which card's are in hand of your opponent? Or do you think about that or just focus on your own hand. Just tell me
always got to know what they could hit or have on every street in order to make the correct reads and decisions especially if you want to steal a pot etc..
i disagree with most on here on the range of hands. For me betting history style patterns are more interesting to work on and know of the villians then to know the range.
When im on truly on I really know what people are trying to do and reading can be very easy so easy in fact I wonder if everyone went and read the same book on implementing their strategies. I really get a good feel for a table and do not necessarily put people on a range I think that in itself is shortsighted. I really see good players betting a wider range of hands and mixing up play and bets and being confusing.
The leagues here are the best source of that imho. I see guys that will raise with a 6 3 suited like they would raise with an ak. They hit their board and mark and the trickier ones will let you lead to your own death when they flop that str8 etc.. Why I dont buy into the whole range thing.
Now if im grinding ring game or money then a range of hands makes more sense to me so probably do it more often. I am very good at math and the
odds are automatic in my head on most days playing so many hands in my lifetime of poker etc...
I keep very good notes on people but what I focus on is betting patterns. Is some here who truly mix it up and trick me at times and always get a good chuckle out of it but in the main daily I dont run into that so often thankfully
