What hand would you rather see in MP?

Well it's all depends if there is any bettors before me and what stuck I got. But in 90% of time I would just fold because none of these are good hands to play if you not catch the flop you are minus 3 to 4 big blinds

I open raise both hands from MP and sometimes I flat suited connectors IP 45s+(or 3bet them if I have many bbs) they play well post flop. KJo is not one of my favorite hands because it is often dominated. The advantage of KJo is that is better disguised in a straight.

LOL at whoever said KJo. It is the strongest weak hand that always loses big pots and wins tiny pots. Its pairs are heavily dominated by narrowing of typical standard ranges AK,AJ,AA,KK,QQ,KQ and hence it pairs always fall for kicker trouble because folks often raise 3x pre with KJo folding JT,KT which they need. people also call raises because the hand looks like two high cards even though statistically the J is middle card not a high card.

I'm a big fan of suited connectors. So I would feel better with the 89 suited.

Great hands with massive stack advantage online, not sure if your struggling and grinding if there a solid hand to be messing with the ALL in move are you going to call for your life ??

Then again you need to play something at some stage or your dying all ready.

Your next move :)

You are in middle position. What hand would you choose? 98s or KJo?

While I agree with all of you and I chose the choice of suited connector myself, if you were with 10 big blinds UTG would you rather push with 98s instead of KJo though?

I prefer 98s, I think the flop plays very well.
AA often lose against 98s 10Js etc.

Hello.
Usually with such cards as 98s, I am not lucky, so I prefer KJo.

Hello in this case, I would choose 89s because KJ is off, then both dominated many hands but being 89s has more outlets to see the flop and you can connect something and well carry a fairly wide pit. regards

Hello friend, in the image can be seen 89s vs KJo, but if the survey is that hand prefer to play in a certain situation, Greetings

both! The 2 hands can be played perfectly. Look at charts on the internet so that you have a clearer pre-flop range!

Wouldn't you want favorable odds in any situation? So middle position is the only criteria?

My opinion

For me straights are hard to hit. So I would prefer the higher pair shot of jack king.

I'll take the 98 suited because if there are overcards you can fold the hand and minimize losses.

If KJ somebody could have a better kicker and harder to laydown top pair because other players could have you dominated.

The thing is longterm you are better with a suited connector than weak face cards. With 98s you may lose a little or win a lot. With Kj you lose a lot or win a little. Its the postflop playability and implied odds in my opinion.

While nobody except one member answered the second question. Preflop all in I would definately prefer KJo over 98s.

Hi.
It depends on the position, but in my opinion 8,9s is a more promising hand.
Good luck.
