I was wonderring in what percent gives you flush after flop. I had milion opportunities to see people lose and I lost myself several times chasing flush after flop.

Sometimes I do, when price is not very high. But if someone go all in, I dont want to take chances and I fold.

Chase, you mean if someone raise and you follow his raise to see turn and river hoping your card will come out. It depends of the price you need to pay for that card that is missing. Too risky

I have to admit, I have definitely been known to chase flushes after the flop. This is a bad habit that I have reduced but just seem not to totally get away from.

If the price is right, there are enough players in the pot, and I have the top flush draw I will chase. Otherwise I do not.

I will see the turn if my hand would make a strong flush, depends on the pot and the situation if I will stay for the river

and doesn't this also depend on the implied odds? and the opponents stack size?

if the bet was 33 for a 100 pot, then it would be a break even play...

or if the bet was 33 into a 66 pot and you opponent is deep stacked enough to pay of 3x your bet to be profitable... if you opponent raises 33 and only has 33 behind, then it doesn't make sense to call

...am i getting this right? senior members?

I normally like to play and some times raising or moving all-in when I am with flush draw hands pos-flop.

Immediate flush odds are approx 4 to 1 or 19% for 1 street and 1.8 to 1 or 35% to hit if you are guaranteed to see flop and river.

You can factor implied odds but it depends how fishy your opponent is or how obvious the draw is (flushes are the most obvious)

I play them dependingly on the odds I am getting , the bets I face , my stack ,my position/cards(if I have sth more beyond flush draw) etc , but I must say I don't chase flushes more than the turn most of the times :)

Usually when I do not start the pre-flop thinking about it. When I pre-flop a flush, it hardly comes. I do not think it's worth betting on a hand that only has value for the flush.

If you do not have a great game then you better drop your weak hand so you do not lose more chips and wait for a new opportunity to win the game
