For me I only get nervous if I'm super deep in a tournament when it really matters and the final table is a couple hands away, but when hitting the nuts in the flop or a top made hand on the flop I just try to evaluate my bet sizing , how much to bet to get full value for my made hand
You want to be sure that by the end of the hand you’ve played this one strong so that if you do get to a showdown, you get to roll a monster. Not only does this do wonders for your table image now, it makes other players fear you when you get involved in a hand later on.
If you always apply pressure you should never be nervous. If you know what you're going to do before hand then you shouldn't be nervous. Seems like your over thinking or can't handle adrenaline. This will die down over time.
I don't get nervous when that happen, maybe i do get nervous when i hit the nuts in the flop and then turn and river make my hand the 2nd or 3rd hand, like if i hit the nut straight in the flop and then the turn pairs the board and river complete a flush
Hello, if like many to increase our bet before the flop give me nerves since it is not known if someone is going to increase more or if they are just going to match our bet, since there are many who seem kamicaces and go all in without even Have a good hand
Never nervous,,,excited, yes,,,but i never get nervous, maybe it was my sports background, because sports puts you in a lot of high pressure situations,,,it helps when you have been `there` before,,,played alot of snooker when i was young too,im sure that helped too
Yes, of course. I got straight several time in flop, but by my experience, that is set up. Always someone was better with flush on river or something like that. Now I play very careful when I have strong hand in flop.
In situations, where I have a strong hand or a nuts on the flop - I try not to be nervous and be patient. The main thing is to play quality poker, adjust to your opponents, make raises and 3-bets, and in some cases - slowplay.
It is a mistake to get nervous when u hit good flop ,just play straight and play this hand to get more value against special type of your opponents play!
I always get super excited when the flop comes and it's huge for me.. I try to take a breath and relax and represent a weaker hand to get my opponent to try and throw me off the pot, but it doesn't always work sadly. Sometimes I can't help myself and I just fire away on every street like the biggest donk ever
I get a little nervous , I don't want to make mistake on the wrong size of bet and make the villain get away or give him a cheap card that will change the board and my good/nut card and give him a draw . I try to be very carefull ,not to slowplay especially . I have to to make better bets , this will make me less nervous
