Do you know your own weaknesses ?

I think I know my own weaknesses but I could be so bad I do things that I don't even no is a fault or mistake and therefore weakness... In fact erase 'Could be' and insert 'Am'

My main weakness is lack of aggression post flop.. Aggression pre flop is easier especially if you just shove, it is only one decision to make and making raises with strong starting hands is quite straightforward but playing out a hand that has missed the flop is my Achilles. My timidness at bluffing is a big weakness in my game but I am pushing myself now to improve in this area and I have been getting encouraging results lately. Even when I do connect on the flop I don't extract enough profit, I need to learn how to gauge bet sizes so I can benefit more from my strong hands

Hand Range... I play too tight... i've seen tight players playing some very questionable starting hands... Questionable because I hardly ever consider playing them. But, I think I'm wrong and there is good reasoning behind playing small suited connectors or suited gappers especially in late positions

Hand reading... I have for a long time been in the category of players that only consider their own cards and not the opponents also, so I'm watching closer now and trying to improve here too...

So these are a few of my weaknesses I know about and what I'm attempting to do about it !

My weakness is bankroll management.

look....if you play using good BRM, there's no reason to be afraid to play...
With that I mean....lot of players are afraid to lose chips because of maybe being behind in a hand.
Therefor they don't value bet enough on turn and river.
One of the biggest leaks in micro and low buy-in games....being afraid to value bet...

I saw a great post on c-betting, but I lost it and can't find it.... Really wish I could.

I think that if you get it down to 1-2 preflop, then c-bet bluffing is pretty good. It does depend on who you are playing against. There's a lot of players in the 1c/2c games I get into that will call anything.

As for my weaknesses, I know I hero call too much or even bet out of position. I usually have something like top pair vs a larger poket pair or second pair and get the pot oversized. Think this is because in the freeroll / micro games I've been playing people don't respect min - 3x bets.

I also don't respect chip leaders at all in tourneys.

Yes I know my own weaknesses in both poker and in life and if I told everyone what they are they would also know what they are.
Finding others weaknesses and how to use that to your advantage is what HUDs were invented for.

Yes i know all of my weaknesses and its important to know yours ..thats the first thing you have to know to improve your play, strategy and skill to know and use your opponents weaknesses ..

I know my weaknesses, but each table exposes different weaknesses. I think you have to adjust according to players. That can be very difficult to do.

My biggest weakness is my bad temper

My biggest weakness is my predictability. I play great at small stakes, where opponents are not usually using a HUD or paying attention to anything but their cards. But, this will hold me back as I move up the stakes.

I am trying to overcome this by trying to mix up my play and get a bet in when I normally wouldn't. I've found that I sometimes catch something when I stick around and then get paid off because people not expect me to stay in with low pair only, and then will pay me off when I get trips on the river.

No I don't know all my weaknesses. But I believe another person can tell me some I would never know unless they told me. That's why I type my problems here, so someone will say that one thing that will turn that light on in my head and I think, "oh that's it right there." If I knew all my weaknesses, I could fix them all and be the perfect player, or perfect person in life. But online, people can only know me so much and can only help me by what I tell them.

My weaknesses are the cards, bet sizing , hand reading, not folding or folding too soon, playing out of position, playing in position, bluffing too much, not bluffing enough, playing too passive, playing too aggressive, damn I'm getting depressed now thinking about it let's just say poker in general.

does that mean i need to change your colour to green, and that my weakness is i had you as a red

i dont know if yer taking the piss or not, but all these things you stated can be fixed easily....one at a time...if you recognise them, then you are obviously thinking about them...

a real weakness is playing without knowing what the problem is

Its not all about the weaknesses,sometimes luck also plays a major role.

Our worst weaknesses is want to win all the hands. That is not possible. And there are some players that want to win as many as they can and become rich in one our or day! Poker is like a job: you beggin without all the knowledge, and step by step you will learn the key moments of poker and the better way to win some hands in order to jump some places. We all start as a simple employer with the goal that in some years, with dedication and hard work became the boss!!! We start as amateurs to became in professional players!

Probably my weaknees is be confident with second pair, with one palyer that i have note who is a donk, shoves everthing and something like that, that's my problem, i have notes and some days i'm calling with second pair... Remember the donks playeres sometimes they have it!

I play freerolls, cheapest tournaments and try to survive in cash at one time. And very hard to switch from one to another. Absolutely different levels and play.

Entitlement tilt & completing from the sb.

I am still learning to adjust to different players and work on my post-flop play...those are my biggest weaknesses.

I get too conservative when it comes heads-up.

Proper bet sizing
Curiosity calls on river
Trying to bluff on big pot without always considering opponents range
Overvaluing low/middle pocket pairs
Forgetting to consider effective stack sizes when set mining or playing suited connectors
Sometimes disregarding position when deciding how to play hand
And could go on.
