By experience, do you change the way you play according to the nationality of the adversary? because? What are the most frequent forms of each, and which ones are usually better at the table?

No. I play with a person, not with his country. In all countries, people are different.

Wow are there really poker variants that are typical of particular countries? Could I say: "Oh. He's Australian. that means I can expect him to X,Y,Z"??

This sounds ridiculous to me. but, I'm a poker novice.
Has nationalism invaded even the sacred Poker?

How would you play against U.S. players?

I agree, with EddieJ, sounds pretty ridiculous. You certainly should be constantly changing your game. You need to tighten up and loosen up at certain points, but that has nothing to do with geo location.

I have never tried but if you can find out his nationality and than judge his temperament then you can use that info to change your style. It seems very risky because you are judging a fish based on sea.

I do not, not that I would have a clue as to how someone would play one country member differently than another.

Was not exactly that, even was a doubt, it is not about one nationality to be better than another, but for the style of game which more follow in a certain place ..
This is not 100% of the cases, but my question was whether this would influence the way the opponents play ...

I raised this doubt based on my results with compatriots and other non-compatriots ... it's something personal ...

I didn't take it personally at all. Obviously, I think the question is interesting enough to write about :)

its news and noteworthy. UK just filed to leave the EU. Europe is definitely becoming more nationalistic/territorial.

It is the same thing here in the States.

Regardless of geopolitics, my game is suffering along with marginal bright spots amid the many losses.

It's nothing about politics or geography.
Personally because I somehow felt that my compatriots change the way I play.
Like, not always, but sometimes I played safer than normal when with a compatriot ...
This may be what changes my results and made me wonder if the nationality changes something

But now I see that this is more PSYCHOLOGICAL ...Thanks, all this helps in some way ....

I think you are correct!

its only natural to feel more comfortable around compatriots. That, however, is more a personal/psychological issue.

Everyone has reasons to be more or less comfortable. ME: I don't know that I'v'e ever felt more at home one place vs another.

I know that I don't like private games where i don't know the people/ regardless of nationality.

I play a game in DC, hosted by a Korean, that has all types of guys that beat me up on the table.

Are you more comfortable in a casino or private games??

switching gears while playing any table cash or mtt can be profitable in the long run, failing to only puts a target on your chip stack, most times the table dictates what kind of game its going to be and how I adjust to it
