Math is the easy part of poker, don't waste time analyzing every hand you play, because that energy diminishes your instinctive abilities. I have found that when I analyze I easily second guess myself and make mistakes. When I rely on instinct only, I make far fewer mistakes.
Strategies in poker change constantly during a game and you need your instincts at a very high level to make correct and timely adjustments.
Stay focused and think positive, with enough intense concentration, anything is possible.
self taught, never read a poker book
^^^
and this guy is a CC league pro-no easy task
Im also self taught, no
poker books, no HUDs,
like to think I put up a fight with the best of them...
BUT...
understanding math/
odds/position...its a long list,
helps huge in the end game
if not for CC Id still be playing Ten Two badley
after I learned to only play premium
hands right
then I started to learn how to play ten two (and when (and versus who) correctly
pokers such an everchanging game against multiple styled players,
you have to adapt constantly,
AND...
the more you study the better you will be,
learn what game you like, cash, mtt, stt etc,
stick with it, learn shove ranges/
pot odds/M value...another long list...
