Hello cardschat guys, I want to inform one of the mistakes that several beginners comment on and make them lose money or tokens. Playing many hands is a crucial mistake in poker, where the beginning player thinks he must hit the Flop to be a winner in poker. You will be a winner in poker exploring your opponents and with a good selection of starting hands. Remember that 30% of the time no one hits anything on the flop, it is at this point that you earn chips by playing Tight aggressive against one or two opponents at the most in order to get them to drop their hands.

i don't agree fully with what u are saying
at the start i play allot of hands cause it's cheap to watch the flop
and i always start quiet good never have trouble at the start and i always try to call any suited cards if i have doubts i just fold np for me
i do agree u shouldn't play many hands later on the tourney
but i do gotta admit i'm a beginner so i might say stupid things but for me i think it works better this way

Everyone plays as it is convenient, many people have many opinions.I agree that it is not necessary to call with all the cards...

I have tried many different styles of playing at the start and I’ve had times where all my low cards are producing really well on the flop and times where it’s all high cards full houses straights etc. It is never an exact science but last night I lost with pocket kings to a 3&4 off-suite. Went all in on the flop with trip kings and a flush draw. This is where bad luck comes in a guess...should I have thrown out pocket kings? That is just Poker my friends.

I must admit that each one has its style of play, some play many hands and are profitable, others play few hands and are also profitable or vice versa. The important thing is that I admire the NIT style, Rock, and I will emphasize my posts in this style, always playing strong hands intelligently.

If you play with begginers you can play more often but with aggresive ones i would play fewer hands

To the player in a poker a novice needs to enter into a game, disposing only the best 10-15 variants of starting hands, extending their range as far as the increase of level of mastery.

What are the initial 10-15 variants?

Whether or not I throw away my cards on the flop depends on what, if any, draws I have, and how much aggression I'm facing. I don't generally play to win with Ace-hi, or an under-pair. But if I have a made hand plus a draw then I'm usually going to play according to the odds, assuming that I know nothing about villain. On the other hand if I know that villain is particularly tight, or particularly loose that will enter into my decision and I may bend the odds a bit, or try for a bluff.

And how many you win by attacking?

Of all the styles that I can get further or enter into ITM is imitating the style ROCK, NIT, I have not won anything yet, I am improving my knowledge.

Yes, this is very good advice but some are beginning to play a tournament with a small number of hands but as the current chips is greater than that they immediately begin to play hands more and more until you lose.

Playing poker is not always a reasonable approach to starting, unfortunately, it does not work at high stakes

Yes I think that beginners should fold a lot and only play premium starting cards, and play them aggressively. That means raising or even re raising pre flop, and leading out aggressively when you hit something. I think that's easiest for beginners. Keeping pot small is more for when your post flop playing skills are better.
