Someone before you raises.
In general, do you fold?

It would depend on betting patterns and position. If I raised pre and got one call from the blinds, and now this person bets into me post flop, I would be thinking maybe either Kx or a small pocket pair.

Pot odds should also be considered, a bet of 30 chips from the villain when the pot is 360 is obviously much more enticing to call than a bet of 400 when the pot is 100.

There's a lot more to take into account than just hole cards and what's on the board, but if someone in earlier position is betting on a paired board that I haven't connected with at all, I would be inclined to fold it in the absence of any player reads.

Yes definitely fold or sometimes call and raise any turn as a bluff.
I don't see any other alternative

make a read on the player as well is the player playing tight etc there is a small chance they might be trying to bluff u post flop but unless you get a good read on the player i would fold

Try providing all the info that might factor into the decision. Just some examples:
- tournament or cash?
- relative chip stacks?
- overall stack situation?
- what was the action pre-?
- the bettor's action pre- and his associated range?
- the bettor's cbet tendencies?
- suits?

I think you are either "way ahead" or "way behind" here.
As others have said there isn't enough info to make a real decision here,
but I would try to check this pot down or fold it.....

So you have AJ in your hand. Flop sure did not help you.

Some quick questions to ask your self.

How big is the raise compared to your stack. Does it make good business sense for you to call ? Have you set up for a bluff in your previous hands. How many players are in the pot? How much do you think the turn and river will improve your hand?

Me, I'd probably muck the hand.
