Is there really that much dead money or chips out there to even concider taking ?
Why would any one want to take the dead money if it doesnt concider a laerge pot ?

At a full table of 9 players what is the math on how much dead money is out there ?

If blinds are high and there is a lot of dead money preflop, then picking up the pot uncontested is an easy way to increase your stack with minimal risk. Any pot you win is good for you.

So, say you're on the button, the blinds are 100/200 with 20 Antes, and there are 5 limpers ahead of you. Theres already 1480 in the pot and no one has shown any real strength. From position, you can easily make a nice-sized raise to try and win the pot.

I would take the dead money if the price is right even with marginal holding but

would let it go if I assess Im beat.
