Erm... I think there's been a misunderstanding here.
bet is one you want your opponent to call
because you have the best hand and you want to extract more money for him. If you're intending to make your opponent fold, or if you plan on folding to a shove, then pretty much by definition it's not
a value bet. You're not betting for value, you're betting for other reasons.
Back to the OP, for me c-bet amounts depend on a number of things: stack sizes, villain tendencies, our image and pot size not the least among them.
