Hi. I just want to ask, how would you guys compare live with online? I'm sure there's a thread for this but recently, as I've been playing lot of live games, I've been doing extremely well but I've rarely had this. I've beaten 2NL, 5NL, and 10NL online but I've never beaten 25NL and beyond. But once I start playing live, I am crushing these games easily at $1/$2. To me, it just feels like live games of $1/$2 is equivalent to 2NL or 5NL online. Am I just running good or is this true? But I doubt I'm "running good" because I am up over $2k from 2 months of playing live at casino this year, and for 1 month, I've been playing home games of 50NL($0.25/$0.50) with no rake and I've won 9 out of 10 sessions, totaling almost $500 although I mostly play here just to have fun rather than trying to make money. Everytime I went to home games, I always came out with victory because games were extremely soft. It's very soft that even my horrible plays or my horrible decisions get paid off by others who make way more horrible decisions than me.

For me, I think it goes like this.

Live $1/$2 = Online 5NL or 10NL
Home game $0.25/$0.50 or $0.50/$1 = Online 2NL

I'm guessing lot of it is because for casinos, $1/$2 is the lowest stake, so it's the only lowest stake available for horrible players.

Yes, numerous discussions on the forum about this, both historically and recently.

Yes, 200NL live is roughly equivalent to 5NL or 10NL online.
