Cold Calling Explanation

Just trying to get a basis to be sure i understand it right.

Pre-flop someone raises before you and your the first caller, if you call that would be cold calling.

Instead of someone raises before you someone calls before you and you call, is that still cold calling? since you havent already put any money into the pot.

Then what about. You call someone raises if you call again cold calling? its not becuase you already put money in correct?

Cold call = call having no money in the pot.

Limp/calling is not cold calling (still not something you wanna make a habit of doing).

Cold calling is defined as calling 2 or more bets in a single action.

Calling a raise PF is cold calling, since the BB is the first bet.
