At what point in your poker 'career' did you or would you consider coaching. I am a HU player winning (for now) moving over to mtt and STSNG. Should I look for coaching or does the internet have the same to offer for free?

Overall is coaching worth the money that they charge hourly rate?

on Pokerstrarter there take place trainings on a cache on FLH, from myself can tell that as the player in a cache, me they very much help to make more correct decisions, began to notice the mistakes in game and if to take the trainer that it at least it is necessary to play NL25

very interesting, i dont think i could be coached into poker. The benefits of it are probably really good. maybe i never thought about it because im playing micros. I would imagine on who the coach is that would define the hourly rate. I wouldnt let a guy a train me unless he was big well know player. My trainer would have to beat me over and over again before i would take advice from him lol thats just me

I've had 5 different coaches and while I got a little something from all of them, most were not worth the investment.
I would not consider a coach unless you've done a lot of reading first and understand the following "systems" and concepts (and yes, this is completely arbitrary):

Harrington
Negreanu Small Ball
Snyder
Assessing equity

I'm sure others could add to the list
