I don't think that's how it works.
First and foremost, MTTs have a lot of intricate nuances. You must already have to have a good understanding of all the applications of such nuances. Second, it takes a lot of studying, playing and then reviewing your own games. Analysis is a part of the learning process.
Third, as far as I understand a coach can help you solidify your game, not teach you how to beat it.
Fourth, nobody has that much time, to watch you play. Any and every coach will ask you for your hand history and review it. Give you feedback.
Finally, I don't think any one will be willing to do it for a part of winning. Most coaches have a set hourly rate and that's the way it works.
In my honest opinion, go for a coach when you have a solid foundation, i.e. when you're good at it but want to become better.
Ok here's the thing though, I am successful live, very successful.
I cleared 70k last year playing 1/2 and 2/5 no limit cash games
I have a great understanding of the game, I'm just losing online
What I really want to know is if I'm really just getting extremely unlucky, or if there is something I have to tweak for online play
I never had a coach before, never needed one, and I have been playing much longer than most of the guys I see with coaching channels on YouTube, those guys seem.to do well online, but not live.
I'm wondering if online is a different animal I need to adjust too, if online isn't rigged ( which I believe it's not) , then I should be successful online as well as live
I haven't worked a real job in over a decade, just grinding poker, I'm a well known reg at Fox woods. All the guys I know that make tons of cash in the
casinos hate
online poker for some reason, they only play some big tournies once in awhile.
I read online players are supposed to be better, but what I have seen so far is 90% aggrotards, not talking good LAG players that are able to put me on hand ranges and outplay me, I'm talking people making huge mistakes when I'm a 80%+ favorite and drawing out on me in key pots
Like I said, I never had or needed a coach before so I didn't know how it worked, thanks for explaining it too me
