What's better and more profitable in the long run, to bet big on flop(all in) if I suspect he's gonna chase str8 or flush or to size the pot (bet 50% of the pot) and wait to see what will come out on turn and or river and act depending on that?

Do you want your opponent to act correctly or make bad plays? Act accordingly.

Why would you want draws to fold, your goal is to extract the most value possible, jamming flops you're just going to get a lot of folds. Bet big and shutdown there odds.

I wasn't precise. 1. solution- to bet all in or pot size to take the pot (assuming i'm the original raiser and it's mtt) and chase him off( make him fold) and by that risk the going out of the tournament if he calls and hits. OR
2. solution- to bet smaller and if it hits third of the same kind(color) or some good card for str8, then check all the way or check and if he bets fold or if he bets small call (depending) on the stacks.
In both cases assuming I have overpair or top pair top kicker.
If I have set i most of the time bet it or call it all the way considering the full house opportunity if it pairs the board.

If you want your opponent to play the draw, then give him the pot odds to make the draw. If you don't, then take them away. Beware some players will chase the draw without looking at the math.

Maybe it would help if you had a certain hand that you were puzzled about and you could post it for specifics?

In my experience at the level I play at, it does not matter what you do, chasers will go all the way to the river. I also see players that will go all the way with nothing but an ace. So I guess it comes down to what you want them to do.

Well, there were many hands, so it's stuck to my brain. That kind of situations. Always wonder why people chase? Ok if it's str8 flush draw, but 8 or 10 outs, not so tempting. (unless shortstacked) I don't chase if it's to big of a bet( the kind that will cripple my stack) and fold. especially if i have suited connectors like 78 or similar.

Yes, I play freerolls and it's frustrating when people chase 3or 4 outs willingly, and I have to stick in the game.

Well guess I will have to estimate who's "good" player and give them pot odds that they won't chase and with "bad" players slowplay it and depending on that bet or fold on the river. I play ,don't know if I can say, open skill league on PS and there I not rarely have to see players rank in the league and then act accordingly.
