Your brain is programmed so that you avoid risk, but to be a top poker player, you need to do exactly the opposite. Try to play in the best way, get ready for his excessive aggression, and win a lot. Especially at the lower limits, many players (even regulars) will play very conservatively, and you will be able to destroy them.GL

Caution is really
a good thing while playing. What are you going to do if you are holding middle pair and the bet to you is 100 and there is only one card out there that can beat you. Are you not going to use caution? Or are you going to play fearless and call the 100 just to watch your chips go in his stack. There is a great place to use fear to help you. A lot of players fear losing, and it's easy to spot them by the way they bet. They would never make a big bet from MP and take the blinds. So that fear is a good thing for you an use their own fear against them.

In my humble maniny fear a hindrance in poker, but the care itself is not. But if very careful it is fear.

Caution is not a hindrance. It's a survival mechanism. It's ok to be cautious as long as your not letting it drip into fear. Fear, yes...that most definitely can be a hindrance.

This is why proper bankroll management becomes important, as long as you play at levels where you're financially comfortable with a potential loss then you will take more risks.

This is the aggressive wins all thinking. Sure you may occasionally make it and it looks good at the final table. But..... how many tournaments are you out early on the rails. I'm no pro by any means, but have seen alot of super aggressive move to the sidelines at the least opportune times. Mix it up and hope you don't hit second best great hands.

I think one can have an aggressive game, but also be cautious, balancing these variables will make you win or lose money.
Fear paralyzes you, so it is important to play according to our banroll and play comfortable. But being cautious is different to play with fear.

caution is a great thing that. Its a signal to our brain that the situation at hand requires patience and clear thinking to make the correct decision.

Fear, when playin poker, is a bad thing. If you have fear that means you dont trust your intuition. afraid of going broke
