I mean who started taking data on when AA win preflop and what percent of the time does 10's beats AK. Im just saying i have a hard time when i can really only go by my data and that is flawed because im not playing the same person all the time. I think when it comes to my game which we all know has holes in it that its really more of a instinct then a play by the book style. I need to know why a 3 bet is more respectable play then a all in or say a 5 bet. Who came up with these so called rules. How do you play AA? Once again i dont disagree with anyones style of play nor do try and say mine is the best but i think we all at some point play by instinct when it comes down to it. Sometimes its right and most of the time its wrong but nonetheless we use it 100% of the time and thats the only true data that i can understand.
this is what I understand.
you have problem of getting paid by AA
and my advice is
understand pot odds[preflop pot odds], hand ranges.
to make things clear -- play a set of hands including AA the same way. at Early position, raise AK and AA or 78s the same amount, Yes, If they think you have AA all the time, fine I got some weak hands like 78s and get paid for big blinds and small blinds without contest. the pot odds is for a set of hands not a single hand.
unfortunately there is no such book tells you have to play each hand, because you are against different kind of people or like you described, same bunch of people but different time - they might tilt, in A game or whatever. think need to handle the situation hand by hand.
PS: other question is hard to answer, I suggest you finding a book, 3bet if more respect than all in, humm, i don't think nowadays, 3bet gets more respect.
how to play AA, that is another hard question, I think I play AA with other kind of hands the same way, I do not treat any single hand, but I play a set of hands on the table the same way, and that range of hands will caculated depends on who you play against.
